A man accused of raping a child is found hiding in Central Texas.

Michael Brannen was picked up in Temple, Texas, that's 30 miles south of Waco.

He was wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The criminal complaint was filed in Andrews and a warrant was issued.

His wife, who was with him, was also arrested on unrelated charges.

Andrews Police Chief Bud Jones says he's hoping the case will be presented to a grand jury within a few weeks.
