Midland City Council Approves Zone Change for Downtown Apartments

MIDLAND - Affordable downtown apartments are closer to becoming a reality in Midland.

The Midland City Council approved a zone change for them.

The Brownstones are slated to go up on south Pecos and Marienfeld and would have 70 units and a clubhouse.

The city still has to give their final okay at their next meeting.

Once all the paperwork is done and approved, the developer is hoping to break ground in two or three months.
