ODESSA - It only took jurors one hour to find a man guilty for forcing a 14-year-old girl into prostitution in Odessa.
25-year-old Brian Phea met the girl on the social media website "Tagged" and bought her a ticket to come to Amarillo so he could take care of her.
The two eventually made it to Odessa where Phea forced the teen into prostitution.
Phea advertised the girl on websites like Backpage and Superescortpages.com.
When the teen made it clear she did not want to sell her body, Phea hit her so hard that it ruptured her ear drum and he also tased her with a stun gun.
He faces up to life in prison for making a child engage in prostitution and using interstate commerce to promote prostitution.
