ODESSA - An Odessa man is accused of molesting a young girl and then apologizing afterward.
39-year-old Danny Halfacre is accused of sexual assault of a child.
Last July, the mother of the child said the girl was acting strangely.
After she questioned her, the child said Halfacre had sexually assaulted her with his hands.
A rape exam was done and it confirmed the young girl's story.
The arrest report also says Halfacre later told the child he was sorry.
