A reminder to everyone who is planning on bringing in the fourth of July with a bang.

It's illegal to have, keep or set off firecrackers inside the city limits or off a road.

If you're caught, you could face a hefty fine.

Fireworks are allowed out in the county, but you must get the property owner's permission to shoot them off on their property and you can't shoot them off the road.

Firefighters are encouraging everyone to go visit the professional fireworks display being put on.
