MIDLAND - A Midland man remains locked up after pulling a knife on a man at the Salvation Army.

The victim told police he asked 36-year-old Moses Jones for his knife to open a can.

But Jones thought he was trying to take the knife away from him.

Jones had a different story.

He says the victim told him to hand over the knife or he was going to get a gun.

Police believed the victim and arrested Jones.

He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
