ODESSA - A heroin deal witnessed by Sheriff's Deputies lands two Odessa men behind bars.

48-year-old Raymond Pineda and 65-year-old George Galindo are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

According to the arrest affidavit, two deputies witnessed the men making a drug deal at a car wash. When the deputies approached them, they say Galindo put something in his mouth.

The deputy grabbed Galindo's throat and told him to spit it out. He then spit out several bundles of heroin.

Pineda also had a large amount of cash on him.
