HOWARD COUNTY - The dry conditions helped spark a grass fire in Howard County.

Fire officials tell us the blaze started Thursday afternoon off of 350 and North County Road 41. That's about seven miles north of big spring.

Howard County volunteer fire Chief Tommy Sullivan says three kids burning brush started the fire, which got out of control.

Fire crews had the fire 100 percent contained around 11 Thursday night.
