Felon Receives Maximum Sentence

ODESSA - A man who escaped from the Ector County Jail twice was handed another 20 years behind bars.

Ector County District Attorney Bobby Bland tells NewsWest 9 that Robert Steven Dudley pled guilty to two counts of escape stemming from the escapes from the Ector County Jail in 2011.

He was sentenced to a maximum of 20 years by Judge James Rush.

This sentence is to run consecutive with his previous sentences of 99 years and 30 years on two prior aggravated robbery convictions and one prior robbery conviction.
