PRESIDIO COUNTY - NewsWest 9 has an update on a group of horses that were rescued in Presidio County last year.
You'll remember the Presidio County Sheriff's office seized over 20 horses in an animal cruelty investigation.
The horses were then given to a non-profit group in Alpine called Life Savers Wild Horse Rescue.
The organization nursed them back to health and since then and several have been adopted.
We're told two more horses might be getting a new home soon all the way in Iowa.
10 horses are still available for adoption.
