ODESSA - $659,000, that's how much money donors gave on Saturday during the 25th Annual Children's Miracle Network Telethon.

Over the years, the Network has raised millions of dollars locally.

The money donated helps Children's Miracle Network reach their goals of helping babies in the NICU and pediatric areas of hospitals.

With this money, they're able to buy lifesaving equipment as well as funding their Ronald McDonald room.

All of the proceeds raised stay here in the Permian Basin that allows families to stay close to home when their baby is in the hospital.

The local CMN organization covers 19 counties from Big Spring to Presidio.
