Interim City Manager Named in Hobbs

HOBBS, N.M. - The City of Hobbs is breathing easy now that the city commission has named an interim city manager.

Fire Chief Manny Gomez will replace Eric Honeyfield after he leaves office in a few days.

Gomez has been with the city for 21 years and has 27 years of experience working with city governments.

The city has restarted their search for a permanent city manager after candidates backed out for various reasons.
