ODESSA - An Odessa teen is in big trouble after being caught having sexual
relations with a much younger teen.
17-year old Ryan Martens
is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
In early May, the parents
of the victim contacted police after hearing their daughter was in a sexual
relationship with martens.
We're told the girl is
younger than 14-years-old.
The parents told police
they learned of the relationship after hearing their daughter asking friends
about the morning after pill.
The girl was taken to Midland
Memorial to have a sexual assault exam performed.
Martens was then called in
and confessed to the relationship.
According to the Texas Penal
Code, sexual contact with children younger than 14 is classified as aggravated
sexual assault.
Martens is being held on a
$10,000 bond.
