COAHOMA - DPS Troopers were very busy on Saturday afternoon cleaning up a terrible accident on Interstate 20 in Coahoma.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning at mile marker 186.
Howard County Sheriff's Deputies tell NewsWest 9, a Ford Mustang hit the guardrail and stopped in the center of the Interstate.
An 18-wheeler swerved to avoid it but rolled and crashed into the Mustang.
Another tractor trailer crashed into the 18-wheeler.
The driver of the first truck, 66-year-old Ronald Webb of California, was killed and his wife is in critical condition.
The Interstate was shut down all day while officials cleaned up the accident but it has reopened.
