MIDLAND/ODESSA - What started off as serious and frightening threats turned out to be someone with too much time on their hands.

The FBI and police are still trying to find out who phoned in a bomb threat.

On Wednesday around 4 p.m., a man called Odessa Police and claimed there were duffle bags with explosives at the Midland International Airport and at a train depot that were set to go off at 6 p.m.

The Airport and train depot in Odessa were evacuated and searched but nothing was found.

If caught, the man faces charges of making terroristic threats.
