MIDLAND - Two people were arrested after a drunk driving rollover and telling a juvenile passenger to flee the scene.

30-year-old Ana Garces of Midland and 34-year-old John Hilario of Big Spring are charged with a list of crimes.

Around 11 p.m. Friday night, a witness at Interstate 20 and Midkiff told officers that at least two people, a male and juvenile female fled a rollover on foot.

Midland police found a female child walking in front of the Stripes at 2401 south Midkiff and an unidentified man trying to pick her up in his vehicle.

She also said Hilario told her to run.

Meanwhile, DPS found a drunk Hilario at south Midkiff and County Road 124.

Midland Police showed up and took Hilario back to the rollover at Midkiff and I-20.

While all this was going on, officers were notified that a drunk Garces was being taken back to the rollover as well.

No word on where she was found.

Garces is charged with DWI and not stopping to render aid.

Hilario is charged with endangering a child and public intoxication.
