ODESSA - An Odessa man, brandishing a bull's-eye on his chest, sets himself up as a target for police.

Police were called out to a home on Dakota Street around 11 p.m. Monday night.

Officers were called out after 52-year-old Stanley Smith reportedly pointed a rifle at family members.

We're told when police arrived that he was standing out in the yard with a bull's-eye painted on his chest, screaming at officers to shoot him.

He then went back in the house.

By the time SWAT showed up, he came out and gave himself up.

Smith was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
