Early Voting Begins on Monday for Run-Off Election in Big Spring

BIG SPRING - The polls are opening again for a run-off election in Big Spring.

Early voting starts on Monday for a school board member seat.

According to the Big Spring Herald, current District 2 Member Maria Padilla is going for her fourth term as a Big Spring Trustee.

She's up against Pat Deanda in a tight race.

Padilla got about 39 percent of the vote while Deanda got 37 percent.

Voters living within the district two boundaries can cast their ballots starting on Monday at the courthouse.

This election is scheduled for June 23.
