ANDREWS/MIDLAND COUNTY - Local farmers and ranchers now know when the West Texas Farm Service Agency Offices will close.
The Andrews and Midland County offices will close their doors on August 24th.
But they're not the only ones; the federal government is closing Farm Service Agency offices across the country.
15 offices are getting the boot in Texas.
The Andrews office will now operate out of Seminole and the Midland office moving to Odessa.
The Odessa office does not have a staff but the state is hoping to fix that soon.
The state says it has been a rough year for them as congress has slashed their budgets and laid off several employees.
