ODESSA - Nowadays, chefs are a hot commodity and that's what Odessa College hopes to train.
OC broke ground on their new Culinary Arts Center on Wednesday morning.
The center will feature two fully functioning restaurants, a fast food type eatery and an a la carte style restaurant.
As students go through the program, they'll get the real world knowledge they need to make it.
Students in culinary arts will be sharing the building with students in food management as well.
The total cost of the building is expected to be around $4 million.
