ODESSA - An Odessa man remains in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the chest.

Odessa Police responded to the call of shots fired around three a.m. Saturday morning at the Western Oaks Trailer Park.

When officials arrived on the scene, they found one victim, 26-year-old Armando Garcia, who had been struck by a stray bullet in the chest.

He was transported to Medical Center Hospital.

Garcia told officers that he was at the trailer park visiting his girlfriend.

When he and his neighbors friends got into a confrontation, that's when his neighbor came outside firing several rounds.

Investigators on the scene later learned that the alleged shooter, 24-year-old Oscar Domingo Balderas was still inside a trailer.
