Phone Service Back to Normal in Fort Stockton, Alpine, Marfa

FORT STOCKTON - Phone lines are back in normal working order in Fort Stockton, Alpine and Marfa.

That's after fiber line was cut causing phone lines to shut down on Friday evening.

Fort Stockton Police Chief Art Fuentes tells NewsWest 9, their 911 calls are fully functioning.

On Friday night, calls had to be re-routed to the City of Pecos in Reeves County.

The City of Marfa also had to re-route their emergency calls there.

Officials want to thank everyone for their patience during the ordeal.
