ODESSA - A horrific head-on accident in Odessa took the lives of a teen and an elderly woman on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened in the 5000 block of East 52nd Street.
Police tell NewsWest 9, that a Buick Enclave, driven by 64-year-old Sandra Bryant Bell of Odessa, was traveling westbound and veered into the eastbound lanes of 52nd Street and collided head-on with a Chrysler 500 driven by 45-year-old Alma Zubiate of Odessa.
Both drivers were transported to Medical Center Hospital with bodily injuries.
A passenger in the Enclave, 87-year-old Wanda Bryant of Midland, died at the scene. 14-year-old Nikolas Moralez, who was a passenger in the Chrysler, was transported but later died from his injuries.
The investigation into the crash continues.
