ECTOR COUNTY - The Ector County Jail can pat itself on the back for running a tight ship.
They were surprised by a visit from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards on Wednesday.
On Thursday, a walk through was done throughout the jail.
Inspectors checked things such as safety equipment, generators and fire alarms.
On Friday, a passing grade was given to the jail.
