Police Respond to Shooting in Odessa

ODESSA - A shooting victim in Odessa is being tight lipped about what really happened.

Officers went to check out a disturbance at a house on north Muskingum around noon Friday afternoon.

That's when a second call came in saying there was a gunshot victim.

Police tell NewsWest 9, two men who lived at the house were arguing when one of them was shot.

The victim, 30-year-old Darnell Polk was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspected gunman, a 17-year-old, left the scene before police arrived.

Police tell NewsWest 9, the victim is not being cooperative and they have little evidence to work with at this time.
