ODESSA - NewsWest 9 made an appearance at Wednesday's Leadership Day at Gale Pond Alamo Elementary in Odessa.

Leadership Day is all about getting our younger generation excited about their futures and careers goals.

Students even dressed up as what they wanted to be when they grow up.

There were several speakers there including our reporters Geena Martinez and Anayeli Ruiz. Our sunrise anchor, Victor Lopez and Creative Services Director, Jon Garcia, were also at the event.
