After a close call on the highway, dozens of bikers hit the pavement on Saturday morning as they make their way to the East Coast.

The "Run For The Wall" motorcyclists are riding from California to Washington D.C. to honor our veterans at the Vietnam Memorial.

The riders and supporters with flags say they want to pay tribute to the sacrifices of veterans killed and those still living.

The bikers planned to make stops in Colorado City on Saturday and other places on their way to Washington.

On Friday, during their drive to Midland, a few bikers suffered some road rash after laying down their bikes to avoid an accident.

Thankfully everyone was ok and able to continue on their way.
