MIDLAND COUNTY - Fire crews battled a big mobile home fire in Midland County on Saturday afternoon.
The fire started around 4:30 p.m. in the 6300 block of East County Road 90.
According to scanner traffic, the home was about 75 percent involved when crews got on the scene.
Scanner traffic also reported that the fire spread to tires that were on the roof of the home and crews worked quickly to keep it from spreading to a nearby propane tank.
Ammunition was also reported to be going off in the home.
We're told the homeowner was outside working when the fire started.
The home is considered a total loss and the Red Cross was contacted to help the man.
Fire investigators are working to determine a cause.
