HOWARD COUNTY - One man has died after an oil rig accident in Howard County.
We're told a man fell to his death.
The accident happened on a Big Dog Drilling rig near County Road 40 and North County Road 9 around 7 p.m. Friday night.
Howard County Sheriff Stan Parker tells NewsWest 9, the worker fell from the top of the rig onto the ground.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Right now, the man is not being identified until his family has been located.
We're told OSHA has been notified.
Investigators don't know yet what caused the man to fall.
