Stormtracker 9 Weather

Meteorologist Greg Rule joined the NewsWest 9 team in December of 2011. He graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver with a degree in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. Greg lived in Denver and the mountains of Colorado for over 12 years and enjoyed snowboarding during the winter and camping in the summer. 
 
While in Denver, Greg was a member and vice president of the student chapter of the American Meteorological Society.  He also participated in the semi-finals of the nationally recognized Weather Forecasting Challenge.  Greg loves anticipating a huge storm, particularly snow storms.  Greg has enjoyed his time as the newest member to the weather team here at KWES.
 
On his off time, Greg loves spending time with his girlfriend, Ronelle and their new cat, Lynus. He loves relaxing at home and taking vacations in the outdoors. He loves the ocean just as much as the mountains, and tries to see both at least once a year.
