ODESSA - Odessa Police are investigating after two kids fall out of a vehicle.

On Tuesday afternoon, officers say a mother was making a left turn at Murphy and Grant when the back door of her vehicle came open and a four-year old boy fell out.

The woman stopped and picked him up but didn't take him to the hospital until two hours later.

Officers arrived to the hospital and learned that another child, a seven-year old girl, also fell out of the same car, without the mother ever mentioning it.

The four-year-old was airlifted to Lubbock and is expected to be ok.

The seven year old was released from the hospital on Wednesday.

Child Protective Services has been notified.
