MIDLAND - Some Midland College students will be paying a little more for their education.

But the increase in tuition only applies to students who live out of district.

Their courses will increase by $9 per hour.

The Midland College Board of Trustees approved the price hike on Tuesday.

It's expected to bring in about $400,000 to the college.

That cash will be used to give professors and faculty raises.

The Board also approved other rate hikes when it comes to meal plans and late registration fees.
