ODESSA - An Odessa man fesses up to a string of crimes.

Eddie Palma pled guilty to attempted capital murder of a peace officer, evading and trying to escape from jail.

He'll spend 45 years in prison.

Palma and two other men were being chased by deputies after a shooting that left a teenager dead back in January of 2010.

During the chase, Palma fired a gun at a deputy pursuing them.

The three eventually wrecked but Palma got away.

He was eventually tracked down to Jaguar's Gold Club.

Last year, Palma tried to escape from the jail but was caught in the ceiling.
