MIDLAND - A fire ripped through a Midland home that was thought to be abandoned but it turns out a woman was living inside.
The fire sparked up in the 400 block of East Oak Street after 5:30 p.m. Sunday evening.
We're told the home didn't have any running water or electricity.
Officials on the scene say no one was inside the home at the time but a woman is known to live there.
The Midland County Crisis Intervention Unit and the Red Cross came out to help the woman.
Fire investigators are still trying to figure out a cause.
The home is considered a total loss.
