Last month, NewsWest 9 reported about the need for CASA volunteers in the Basin and it looks like the agency will be getting that help.
On Monday afternoon, the Court Appointed Special Advocates for children will be swearing in 15 new volunteers.
The advocates help abused and neglected children.
Right now, Ector County has the highest rate of children going into foster care, per capita, in the state.
The new volunteers will join 76 other advocates in Midland and six other West Texas Counties.
