MIDLAND - Mandatory uniforms could be coming to more Midland ISD campuses next year.

The issue is back on the agenda for Tuesday's regular school board meeting.

Board members will hear from Superintendent Doctor Ryder Warren about a possible uniform dress code at Bonham and Henderson Elementary.

Just last month, the school board approved uniforms for nine schools.

Some options include solid-colored polo shirts and black, khaki, or navy pants and skirts.

Parents were given surveys about the issue.

School officials say a mandatory dress code would make it cheaper for parents when shopping for kids.
