Midland Police Reminding Residents to Hide Valuables in Your Vehicle

MIDLAND - Midland Police are reminding residents to pay close attention to where they leave their belongings.

On Sunday morning, officers responded to a few burglaries within 20 minutes of each other.

One was on the corner of Lamesa Road and East Louisiana Avenue and the other was on the corner of Cherry Lane and Carver Street.

The car near Lamesa Road had a window broken into and two purses taken.

Two cars near Cherry Lane and Carver Street had their windows broken into and each had a purse stolen.

Police are asking citizens to hide any valuables and lock your cars.

The investigation is ongoing.
