ODESSA - The Odessa teen accused of a horrific murder was scheduled to be in court next week but the trial has been rescheduled to June 5th.
Ector County Judge Jim Bobo tells NewsWest 9, the delay is due to evidence making its way to the prosecuting attorney's office late, as well as other scheduling issues.
You'll remember the 14-year-old boy is accused of killing four-year-old Walker Lumpkin.
Last June, Ector County investigators said the teen intentionally ran over Lumpkin with a four wheeler.
But that wasn't what killed him.
A week later, Lumpkin was taken to the hospital with head injuries and later died from a blow to the head.
