MARATHON - A former Marathon school employee has been indicted for stealing from the school.

Fred Stair, former business manager for the district, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the school.

Investigators say he used a credit card and wrote checks to himself for more than $200,000 from the school's bank account.

We're told it happened over a three year time span from September 2008 to June 2011.

Stair turned himself in last month but is out on bond.

Authorities think even more money will turn up missing as they continue to investigate.
