HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs woman is accused of using her three year old son to hide a gun.
Police went to arrest 21-year-old Andreina Garcia and 20-year-old Jesse Jaramillo at a home on Marland.
Both were wanted on charges out of Eunice.
The two were spotted leaving the house and stopped.
Police patted down Garcia and her three year old son that she had been carrying.
At first, they didn't find anything but when Garcia handed the toddler over to his grandmother, a handgun fell out of the child's pants.
Garcia was arrested for child abuse.
She's also charged with larceny and taking part in a home burglary in Eunice.
