FORT STOCKTON - After being accused of killing a Fort Stockton teen over 10 years ago, a Coyanosa man is finally going to trial.
32-year-old Fabian Castaneda is charged in connection with the killing of Javier Tellez, Junior.
Castaneda went on the run for over 10 years before finally being caught.
He now not only faces first degree felony murder but also failure to appear charges.
According to the Pecos County Sheriff, Castaneda shot Tellez several times in a barn near Fort Stockton.
He then dumped the body along a road several miles away.
Castaneda was arrested at the time but he posted bond and disappeared.
