State Senator to Talk About Dunes Sagebrush Lizard on Monday in Odessa

ODESSA - A State Senator is making a stop in Odessa this week to talk about the controversial Dune Sagebrush Lizard.

The Senate Natural Resources Subcommittee will meet at UTPB on Monday afternoon to talk about the Dune Sagebrush Lizard being added to the Endangered Species List.

The Committee and Senator Kel Seliger are expected to discuss the negative effects that would have on the oil and gas industry.

A public hearing will also take place at the meeting.

If you'd like to attend, the meeting will be Monday at 1 p.m. at UTPB in the Mesa Building, room 2130.

All public comments will be limited to three minutes.
