FORT STOCKTON - The most difficult road race in the world is underway in Fort Stockton.
The Big Bend Road Race began in Sanderson on Thursday with racers taking practice runs and qualifying.
Now, the real fun begins this weekend.
On Friday, the car show had racers showing off their rides and the adrenaline rush races will begin on Saturday.
Some races will have cars topping 180 miles per hour.
The race course is 118 miles and will have drivers winding down roads with elevation changes.
