ODESSA - A town hall meeting was called in Odessa on Thursday night so people could voice their concerns about the Ector County School District.
Organizers say there are problems deep within the system that need to be resolved or else the district will continue to fall apart.
NewsWest 9 has been told that teachers are quitting left and right because of the stress.
"There's high anxiety and we want to see those numbers. They're happening in unprecedented numbers. Just like our heat, we have record numbers of teachers leaving the district," Community Representative, Linda Quiroz, said.
Some people at the meeting said there needs to be more transparency in the system.
They're also fed up with a certain administrator they say has too much power.
Low test scores are also a major concern.
