LUBBOCK - A preliminary autopsy report has been completed on the Midland scuba diver that died last week at Lake O.H. Ivie but officials have decided not to release any information until the full autopsy report is released.

The body of 77-year-old Richard Stovall was recovered on Friday morning at Lake O.H. Ivie.

Two days earlier, Stovall went to collect soil samples at the lake but never resurfaced.

A dive team out of Houston found him in a chamber of a pump station.

Stovall had 40 years of diving experience and operated Stovall's Scuba and Travel out of his home.
