ODESSA - Residents will get the chance to voice their concerns about drilling near their homes at the next Odessa City Council meeting.

On Tuesday, members will consider a request by Devon Energy to change an area of zoning from light industrial to light industrial drilling.

The tract of land being considered is located southeast of the intersection at I-20 and South Dixie.

Also on the agenda, members are expected to give the final approval on renewing the juvenile curfew.

At the last meeting, Police Chief Tim Burton gave recommendations about the curfew.

Once it's passed, if anyone 17 and under is caught out between 11 p.m. and six a.m. on weekdays, they'll get a ticket.

The curfew is extended to midnight on the weekends.

The renewal will keep the curfew going for the next three years.
