People Staying Up All Night in Odessa to Fight Against Cancer

ODESSA - People are staying up all night at Odessa College to stand up in the fight against cancer.

The "Relay for Life" run and walk started at 5 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and will continue until 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

This event is free to everyone.

Cancer survivors are invited to join in the survivor celebration and victory lap.

Different smaller events will go on during the night.

Luminarias will be lit for cancer victims and survivors.

Through corporate sponsorships, the relay has raised more than $1 million to fund cancer research.
