MIDLAND - A Midland man has pled guilty to a bank robbery.
You may remember the bank robbery happened back in February at the Midland Branch of Bank of America on Garfield.
42-year-old Mark David Willmann faces up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.
Willmann pled guilty to the crime on Tuesday.
Willmann admitted that he walked into the bank in the 4300 block of Garfield, approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money and claimed he had a gun.
Willmann then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Within a few hours, he was arrested at an Odessa motel by FBI agents and the stolen cash was recovered.
Willmann remains in federal custody.
