With school rounding out and the summer months nearing many students will be looking for summer jobs.
For the second year in a row, Workforce Solutions of the Permian Basin will be placing teens and young adults in jobs through their summer youth program.
Many of our young people will have some extra time on their hands to make some cash and Workforce Solutions of the Permian Basin is looking to help them land a job and local businesses fill some empty positions.
The program is focused on those between the ages of 16 and 24 in the 17 countywide region that they serve with opportunities to gain experience in a wide range of jobs from service to retail and restaurant industries.
This year's program is looking to fill 250 to 300 jobs this summer alone.
