MIDLAND - People of all ages hit the pavement running on Saturday morning to put a stop to child abuse.
The 4th annual "Blue Ribbon Run" was held at the Midland College campus.
Kids and adults had the option to run a 1K or a 5K as a way to raise awareness about a problem that happens in West Texas.
The Midland County Child Welfare Board hosted the run and April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The money raised from the run will go to help the children the Midland County Child Welfare Board serves.
